aura
Music, in its finest light.
Your YouTube Music library, in a quieter player. Free, no ads, and it keeps playing with the screen off.
Every cover,
a print.
Aura redraws every album cover as a print, in cream dots on black. Pick a pattern and a grain, and every cover in your library follows.
Printing needs Android 13. Older phones show covers in monochrome.
Words that keep time.
Lines light up as they're sung, kept in step with the player's own clock, and saved with your downloads so they still show offline. Tap a line to go to it.
The real lyrics view, running live.
- I left the porch light on again
- for the version of you that stayed
- the kettle hums a minor key
- the night is slow, the night is slow
- and every window holds a moon
- I count them till they all go out
Liner notes.
And a few things left unlisted, for you to find.

Your library
Sign in with the Google account you use on YouTube Music. Playlists, likes and history are already there. A free account works.
-
Liquid glass
Turn on liquid glass and bars, buttons and menus float as panes of glass that bend the page beneath them.
-
Quiet, sideways
Turn the phone on its side and the player becomes a frame. Leave it be and the controls fade until there's only the cover and the song.
-
Screen off, still playing
Lock the phone or switch apps and the song carries on. A free account is enough.
-
Offline
Downloads keep their covers and lyrics, for planes, trains and basements.
-
Even volume
Loud songs are turned down to a common level, so nothing jumps out between tracks.
-
Sleep timer
The music fades out as time runs down, or waits for the song to finish.
-
Honest stats
Plays are counted on your phone, so your most played songs really are the ones you kept coming back to.
-
Haptics
Toggles, tabs and gestures answer with a light touch.
Listen by moonlight.
